Gastro Foods
Renowned Restaurant Group

Gastro Foods is the proud parent of three unique dining spots based in Llantwit, Sully, and a brand-new venue in Penarth. While the company already had a well-recognised icon, the challenge was to evolve this into a refreshed visual identity that could unify the brand without losing its established recognition.
I developed a new brand identity for the Gastro Foods umbrella, while also crafting distinctive visual identities for each restaurant. The result? A cohesive brand family that feels connected, yet allows each venue to express its own personality.

Renowned chef and entrepreneur Sean Murphy — who honed his craft under Gordon Ramsay and even appeared in the whirlwind show Boiling Point — recently took over the former Knife and Fork restaurant group, transforming it into his new venture: Gastro Foods.
Sean wanted to retain the charm of the original icon while reimagining the umbrella brand, giving it a fresh, modern edge. Alongside this, each of Gastro Foods’ pubs needed its own distinct personality while still feeling part of one cohesive family.
To achieve this, I illustrated each pub, capturing their unique architectural character and individual atmosphere. These illustrations became the foundation of a unified visual identity — one that could seamlessly flow across menus, signage, and marketing, tying together the individuality of each venue with the strength of the Gastro Foods brand.
